If the Glympse app stops responding, quits unexpectedly, or won’t open correctly, you can try these solutions, in order, to resolve the issue:
- If the Glympse app is open on your phone, try to quit it and then open it again
- If you have tried #1 above and it doesn’t quit, try to force the Glympse app to quit/stop (see below)
- If #1 and #2 above do not work, try deleting the Glympse app and then reinstalling it from the app store.
To force quit the Glympse app on an iPhone:
- Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle
- Swipe left or right to find the Glympse app
- Swipe up on the app’s preview to close it
- Open the Glympse app again
To force quit the Glympse app on an Android:
- Open the Recent Apps screen by tapping the three vertical bars icon on a button on your screen
- Swipe left or right to find the Glympse app
- Swipe up on the app’s preview to close it
- Open the Glympse app again
Note: The steps listed above may differ depending upon the OS version (e.g., iPhone 12 versus iPhone X, or Android 14 versus Android 12) and device manufacturer (Verizon versus AT&T versus T-Mobile, etc.).
