The Glympse PRO GPS location tracking solution tracks technicians on-the-way to an appointment only when the technician is marked in the system as “En Route” to the end customer's location. This is to protect the technician from being “tracked” when they are not actively working (i.e. on lunch break, on a personal break, etc).
Also, when a technician is marked “En Route” to the customer’s location, only the customer who is specified in the order details will receive the unique URL that will allow access to the agent’s current location. Once the technician arrive to the appointment or destination, the customer will no longer be able to see the technicians location.
By using GPS on the technician’s smartphone, we are able to accurately predict when the agent will arrive at the customer's location. This feature is automatically activated when the agent is marked “En Route”.
We understand the risks inherent in the data with which we are entrusted. As part of our commitment to our customers, Glympse is compliant with the AICPA Security Trust Principles and Criteria for Security (SOC 2 Type 2), the gold standard data protection.
